Science daily:
NASA recently proposed fundraising of $160 billion from corporations in order to send astronauts to Mars. Licensing broadcast rights, making toys, movies, games, clothes etc. They even have considered selling Mars minerals.
Timothy Nelson, space law specialist from Space.com had this to say: ”I think it likely most people would find it difficult to conceive there wouldn’t be any government involvement in such a mission … The possession of a rocket alone would probably trip you up on the military regulations that govern the ownership of missile technology in the United States."
This probably sounds distasteful and vulgar to some. But when you consider the sad science and NASA related cutbacks from government, how else will a mission to Mars actually occur?

If you google "Jack Weppler" the result is a whole slew of pictures, allegedly of Jack Weppler, with defamatory slogans on them.
The story goes like this aspiring actor, Weppler broke up with his girlfriend, who decided to get back at him by uploading his professional head shot to MemeGenerator (see end of post) and somehow the pictures were plastered with defamatory, but funny slogans. Did his ex do that? or was it the internet hordes?
Apparently, as the story goes, his mom has contacted Google to ask to fix th
e problem saying: “My minor son’s ex-girlfriend took a copyrighted picture of him (we own copyright) and uploaded it more than 60 times to a website. On each image she wrote slanderous, defamatory and pornographic captions. The webmaster of the site states he removed the images 6 weeks ago, but Google Search still shows all the images. My son is so stressed out and embarrassed and we’ve done everything we can to get images off of Google including URL removal tool, a letter to Google Legal with all the URL’s because of copyright infringement, and nothing has worked!” (Sounds like a mom all right, doesn't it?)
When you look up this story on the internet, you get description's of the girl like "disturbed". I'm thinking, she could have done a LOT meaner things.
Regardless, we can't be sure if this guy really did anything extra rude or if his ex really is "disturbed".
Sorry Jack, that sultry look must make it easy for the good ol' internet folk to make fun of you. But hey, any free exposure is good for an actor right? (The answer is yes.)

Speaking of awesome Google Doodles / logos. I hadn't seen this one back in May but check out the awesome Pacman Logo that Google made. They still have it up due to it's immense popularity. Google created the Doodle for the 30th anniversary of Pacman, back in May 2010.
Anyway, check out the page. It's interactive! Insert a coin and remember the 80's in all it's glory!
PACMAN FACTS:
Pacman mania grew so large that it had an animated television series (Pac-man: the Animated Series, 1982-1983) and a top ten hit single (by Buckner & Garcia, peaked at #9 in March of 1982)!
When Pac-Man was released, it created a new game genre that appealed to both genders, deviating from the videogame norms of Space Invaders, Asteroid or Pong.
Pac-Man was based off a Japanese folk hero named "Paku" who was known for his appetite. The original Japanese name for it was "Puck Man".
The game was only moderately successful in Japan. Upon release in the United States in 1980 however, the game took off, and took the title of "Best Selling Arcade Game" from then title-holder "Asteroids".
Pac-Man was the first videogame to feature power-ups and cut scenes.
Weird Al Yankovic titled a song "Pac-Man" in a parody of the Beatles "Tax-Man".
Hip-hop Emcee L'il Flip sampled sound from the game in his single "Game Over", which reached the top-20. Namco eventually sued Sony Music regarding this.
Billy Mitchell was the first person to achieve a perfect play score in July of 1999 after playing for 6 hours. He beats his score again though, in 2009, when he achieved the perfect play score in only 3hrs, 40m.
