Ronald Reagan would have been 100 today. A tribute to the 40th president will be displayed at Cowboys Stadium in Texas on the jumbotron just before kickoff.
Reagan began his career as an actor but switched to politics after he worked as a spokesman for GE in the 60s. He served as US President from 1981 to 1989.
He survived an assasination attempt, mediated the air traffic controllers strike and was known for Reaganomics. He spearheaded the War on Drugs, weighed in on the Libya bombing and was around for the end of the Cold War.
Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1994 and died in 2004 at the age of 93.
